Safety and Insurances
What's involved in setup? Is my area suitable?
Choose a flat, grassy or concrete area free from sharp objects, trees and debris, ensuring there’s 1m of space for the castle to be fully inflated and anchored down. If there is no suitable location upon arrival, you may lose your deposit. If the jumping castle is set up on concrete, we will need to supply sandbags for anchors. On grassy set ups, we use our long 700mm industrial steel pegs hammered down into the ground with a sledgehammer on a 45degree angle to ensure stability.
A conditions of hire page will need to be signed by a supervisor before setting up any inflatable
There will be a run-down of safety rules before the jumping castle is set up to ensure the safety off all people using the inflatable. Things like, what to do in adverse weather, limiting the amount of people on the inflatable at once, no shoes, no jewelry, no somersaults and no rough play, etc. Please click on the pdf to see the page.
Checklists to ensure correct procedures are followed
When setting up our inflatables, precise checklists are followed to ensure safety guidelines are followed. Things like weather conditions monitored regularly, the castles have been cleaned, inspection of the jumping castle after set up, proper installation of ground pegs/sandbags, secure and safe location of the blower.
